The medical center is located in the VA Mid-Atlantic Health Care Network (VISN 6), which includes facilities in Asheville, NC; Beckley, WV; Durham, NC; Fayetteville, NC; Hampton, VA; Richmond, VA; Salem, VA; and Salisbury, NC, and their affiliated outpatient clinics.

Beckley VAMC supports two Veterans Outreach Centers - one in Beckley and the other in Princeton, West Virginia.  Each Vet Center provides outreach services, PTSD counseling, and an array of social services to Veterans.
