Washington DC Veterans Affairs Medical Center's newest Community-Based Outpatient Clinic for Veterans opened its doors September 17, 2018. This CBOC is a welcomed addition to the medical center’s system of care for Veterans who live in and around Montgomery County.
The Montgomery County CBOC demonstrates VA’s commitment to providing quality care closer to where Veterans live and work. The clinic boasts 11,600 square feet of space to provide Veterans with primary care, mental health, social work services and nutrition counseling as well as access to some specialty care via secure telehealth technology.

The new CBOC location offers ample parking and is conveniently located to the Shady Grove Metro Station and the Ride On (Bus #63).
