The Georgia Department of Insurance is hosting a Catastrophe Claims Village in Albany, Georgia on the following dates:
- Thursday, October 18, 2018 – 9 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- Friday, October 19, 2018 – 9 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Department staff will be onsite to guide residents with filing claims or reaching their issurers. Also, many of the major insurance companies will be in attendance.

The Department will again have extended hours on the following dates and times:
- Saturday, October 20, 2018 – 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Sunday, October 21, 2018 – 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Residents may call and obtain guidance via phone on filing claims or how to reach their insurers.
