Introduction

This executive summary and brief present the latest updates (September, 2018 November 2018) to the Home Visiting Evidence of Effectiveness (HomVEE) review of home visiting program models that serve families with pregnant women and children from birth to age five.

The executive summary provides an overview of the review process, a summary of the results, and a link to the HomVEE website for more detailed information. The brief provides:

  • a three-page summary describing the review process;
  • the review’s results; and
  • the 20 program models determined to meet Department of Health and Human Services criteria for an “evidence-based” early childhood home visiting service delivery model.
