The Post-Disaster Child Care Needs and Resources document is designed to address the challenges that families and child care providers (including centers, in-home, and family child care providers) may experience following a disaster. The workgroup on Post-Disaster Recovery of Child Care identified several concerns and issues that adversely impact child care services following disasters, as well as federal and nongovernmental organization (NGO) support that may provide relief in those instances. This document serves to catalogue those resources by the identified gaps for 1) families in need of child care and 2) child care providers and communities.
