August Jobs Report

Ensuring Small Scale LNG Certainty and Access Act
"The United States is one of the top producers of natural gas in the world. As such, we have the ability to promote this abundant, environmentally friendly energy resource to our allies. The Ensuring Small Scale LNG Certainty and Access Act expedites the approval of small-scale shipments of LNG exports to emerging markets in the Caribbean, Central America and South America. By modifying the current regulatory regime to encourage small-scale exports, we are creating more open, transparent and competitive markets for natural gas that will in turn increase domestic production, create American jobs and further power our 21st century economy."
