CONDY, Jonathan W., a Clerk from Pennsylvania; born on April 5, 1770; elected Clerk of the United States House of Representatives for the Fifth Congress and the succeeding Congress and served until his resignation on December 4, 1800 (May 15, 1797–December 4, 1800); died on September 16, 1828, in Bethlehem, Ohio; interment in Pennsylvania.
