The National Parks Action Fund is closely affiliated with and in fact was organized by the National Parks Conservation Association.
The NPCA is really the parent organization to the National Parks Action Fund; and in fact, the head of the NPCA was at the press conference announcing formation of the National Parks Action Fund.

Mr. Speaker, several weeks ago, I spoke to about 200 people at the famous Willard Hotel in Washington in a program put on by the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce. I had been told that this was a group of CEOs and owners of major companies in southern California--obviously, a very upper-income group.
Mr. Speaker, costs simply explode on anything that the Federal Government subsidizes because there are simply not the same incentives or pressures to hold down costs as there are in the private sector.
Over the last several weeks, many thousands of young people have graduated from our colleges and universities burdened with sizable student loan debts.
Some people refer to today as tax day—the day on which individual income tax returns are due to the federal government.
