On May 11, as the kick-off to Mental Health Awareness Month, Congresswoman Grace F. Napolitano and Congressman John Katko will co-host a briefing featuring First Lady of New York City, Chirlane McCray, to discuss the importance of school-based mental health programs. Tomorrow’s briefing and panel discussion will focus on proven services and supports that can help with the early identification of mental illness and the benefits of early intervention in a school-based setting and help mark National Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week.
