Representing the 10th District of Pennsylvania

Healthcare

It is clear that the current healthcare system in the US is a failure, and sadly, middle class families are usually those who are the hardest hit. We need to not only scrap Obamacare, but replace it with a sound alternative, such as the American Health Care Reform Act of 2015.  This new healthcare system should foster a more competitive insurance market by allowing individuals and companies to purchase plans across state lines, thereby driving the cost down for consumers. We also need to be doing all we can to support and enable innovation in healthcare—such as health apps, telehealth, and new devices. These technologies would increase access to healthcare services, and would increase quality by providing physicians and patients with more information to make better decisions.
