Washington, D.C. – Congressman MacArthur today urged Secretary of Defense James Mattis to include funding in the fiscal year 2018 budget for new hangars to house the KC-46 tankers at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, as well as any other construction that would help ease the KC-46 transition. MOORESTOWN – Congressman Tom MacArthur announced that Lockheed Martin has received a $784 million missile defense contract to be carried out in Moorestown, New Jersey.
Lockheed Martin’s contract provides options to develop, deploy, test, and operate a Long Range Discrimination Radar (LRDR). The LRDR combines radar, ballistic missile defense algorithms, and combat systems to support the defense of the Homeland.
