The House just passed bipartisan legislation to strengthen career and technical education! I am proud to be an original cosponsor of this legislation that will help businesses and CTE schools, like Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology and Reading Area Community College, partner to prepare students for jobs in today's in-demand industries. I want to thank Reps. Glenn Thompson and Raja Krishnamoorthi - Congressman, IL-8 for introducing this bill and carrying it across the finish line. This is a big win for students, schools, and businesses in our district.
