Special thanks to the ARC, Commissioner Sandy Dunahoo from the Kentucky Department of Local Government, and the National Weather Service for extending much-needed water service to the Jackson Weather Service! I was proud to help break ground on this vital resource today in Jackson, providing the office with running water for the first time in nearly four decades. The water line extension project is scheduled to be complete by the end of the year.

Floyd County students have won The Congressional App Challenge for the 4th year in a row!

Please join me in congratulating the talented team from the Floyd County Area Technology Center: Bobbie Fisher, Nathaniel Curnette, Dustin Janis and Samuel Carroll. I applaud Dr. Jeff Shannon for teaching students how to code every year and Superintendent Danny Adkins for supporting their endeavors.
