"Know Your Rights In Your Workplace"

In recognition of National Labor Rights Week, I am hosting a seminar, "Know Your Rights In Your Workplace," to help you understand your rights and what you can do if your rights have been violated in your workplace. You will have the opportunity to meet and speak with my staff and representatives from the following agencies: U.S. Department of Labor - Women's Bureau; U.S. Department of Labor - Wage and Hour Division; Occupational Safety and Health Administration; National Labor Relations Board; and, U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Please join me on Thursday, September 4, 2014 from 2:00pm to 4:30pm at the Flushing Queens Library, which is located at 41-17 Main Street, Flushing, NY 11355. I look forward to seeing you there.
