WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Congresswoman Jacky Rosen (NV-03) announced the submission of several amendments to H.R. 6147, the Department of the Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act of Fiscal Year 2019.
“The amendments I’m supporting will help to ensure that banks working with legal marijuana businesses in Nevada are safeguarded from potential interference by the federal government,” said Rosen. “My amendments would also ensure we preserve Nevada’s national monuments, defend recreational hunting and fishing access on our public lands, and promote accountability in government by barring Members of Congress who have been convicted of a felony from collecting a taxpayer-funded pension. I’ll continue urging House appropriators to support programs that protect Nevada’s economy, our environment, and our hard-earned tax dollars.”
