Disaster Unemployment Assistance

The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) is accepting applications for Disaster Unemployment Assistance (DUA) in Harris County as a result of severe weather due to Hurricane Harvey. Applications can be taken online through Unemployment Benefit Services or by calling a TWC Tele-Center Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at 800-939-6631

Insurance Claims

FEMA’s National Flood Insurance Program has a call center to answer Texas policyholders’ flood insurance questions

To speak with a flood insurance specialist, call 800-621-3362 between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Property Damage

If your property was damaged by the storm, email photos and a description of the damage to texasrebuilds@glo.texas.gov
