Carson Reminds Hoosiers of Upcoming Open Enrollment Deadline

Washington, DC – Congressman André Carson (IN-07) is encouraging Hoosiers to find a health insurance plan that works for them before the Affordable Care Act Open Enrollment Period ends tomorrow, Saturday December 15, at Midnight. Hoosiers can register for health insurance coverage by visiting www.healthcare.gov or by calling 1-800-318-2596. 

“Every Hoosier deserves quality and affordable healthcare. I encourage those without health insurance coverage to visit www.healthcare.gov during the Open Enrollment Period to find a plan that works for them and their families,” Congressman Carson said.

• Affordable plans are available for the vast majority of Americans. Eighty percent of people can find plans for less than $75 per month.
• Even if you already have coverage through healthcare.gov, you should go back and compare your options to shop and save. Plan options change every year.
• Plans purchased on healthcare.gov are comprehensive, and are required to include essential consumer protections, such as preventive, maternity, drug, and mental health benefits.
