Congressional App Challenge

Congressional App Challenge

The Congressional App Challenge is a nationwide effort that allows students to compete in creating an "app," written in any programming language, for any platform. The Challenge is designed to promote innovation and engagement in computer science. Students are encouraged to register online by September 10 and submit their apps by October 15.

The Congressional App Challenge is open to all middle and high school students who live or attend school in Nevada's 3rd Congressional District. Students entering the competition must submit their app to Challenge.gov during the Competition Submission Period before 12 p.m. EST on October 15.

The winner from Nevada's 3rd Congressional District will be chosen by a panel of expert judges and then featured on CongressionalAppChallenge.us. The winning app will also be eligible to be on display in the U.S. Capitol, honoring the winners from across the country.

Technology continues to impact the way we live our lives and the Congressional App Challenge is the perfect opportunity for Nevada students to harness their creative skills and design innovative apps to solve everyday problems.
