  4. DC is for weekdays, but I stayed today so we could vote to reopen government. Now the Senate is closed until Thursday. When Trump wants to talk seriously about 21st century border security (not a $30B medieval wall), we can get our government going & our workers their paychecks.

  19. While I agree with the intent of this decision, it raises serious legal questions since DOJ previously said existing laws could not be applied to bump stocks. Congress must pass a bill to codify the ban in law.
