Washington, D.C. – Diana Enzi, wife of U.S. Senator Mike Enzi, R-Wyo., is recovering after having surgery yesterday at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. to remove a malignant tumor in her colon.

“The tumor was removed and none of the surrounding tissues appear to have been affected. Pathology work is being done currently, and we should have the results in a few days,” Mike Enzi said. “Our family really appreciates everyone's thoughts and prayers in this ordeal and we send our thanks along with this news.”
