The United States is the leading producer of Natural Gas in the world. It is important that we continue to harness this energy and reap the financial benefits of it. As a member of Congress, I will continue to advocate an “all of the above” energy policy. We cannot let perfectly viable energy options fall by the wayside to promote only “green” energy projects. While we can continue to work towards green energy policies, we must also work towards energy independence with the proven energy sources including natural gas and coal.

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, the House Judiciary Committee held a mark-up of H.R. 5468, Permitting Litigation Efficiency Act, introduced by Congressman Marino.
The federal permitting process has become an immense burden for both businesses and state and local governments. Reforming this process will improve job creation and help our nation reach its full economic potential. This is why I introduced H.R. 5468, the Permitting Litigation Efficiency Act, bipartisan legislation designed to streamline the federal permitting process.
Washington, D.C.—Yesterday, the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) announced that the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has been awarded over $35 million to build a high-speed interchange at the I-99/I-80 intersection in Centre County.
The funds will be awarded through the DOT’s Infrastructure for Rebuilding America (INFRA) grant program.

“It is unacceptable that in 21st Century America, millions of people lack access to reliable and affordable broadband internet. Of the 24 million U.S. households that do not have access to broadband internet, 80% are located in rural areas.
Washington D.C.—Today, Congressman Tom Marino (PA-10) guided H.R. 3620, a bill to amend the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area Improvement Act, to unanimous bipartisan passage in the U.S. House of Representatives. This legislation allows access for certain vehicles serving residents of municipalities adjacent to the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area (DWG) for five years.
