Washington, D.C. - U.S. Sen. Mike Enzi, R-Wyo., plans to host town meetings and other events in Torrington, Lusk and Wheatland during the October Senate home work period.

Enzi plans to read to school children at the Lincoln Elementary School in Torrington on Mon., Oct. 6 at 10:30 a.m.

Enzi expects to hold a town meeting in Torrington at noon on Oct. 6. The event is scheduled to take place at Eastern Wyoming College in rooms 131 and 132 of the Tebbet Building.

Enzi intends to visit the Niobrara Health and Life Center in Lusk at 4 p.m. on Oct. 6.

Diana Enzi plans to speak to Libbey Elementary School students to encourage their participation in a state-wide educational program to remove land mines from Sri Lanka. Mrs. Enzi is spearheading a program that encourages Wyoming students to help adopt a landmine detecting dog that will be used to help eliminate landmines. She is expected to speak to the children at 2:45 p.m. on Oct. 7.

Enzi is scheduled to tour the Britz-Heidbrink, Inc. plant at 3:30 p.m. in Wheatland on Oct. 7.

Enzi plans to visit Wheatland Fire Equipment Company in Wheatland at 4:15 p.m. on Oct. 7.

The senator invites Wheatland area residents to join him at the Coleman building in the County Commissioners' Room for a town meeting at 5 p.m. on Oct. 7.
