Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Mike Enzi, R-Wyo., said the Northern Arapaho tribe is set to receive federal grant funding to help achieve housing goals.

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has awarded $2,540,380 to Northern Arapaho Tribal Housing, in Ethete.

The funding is an Indian Housing Block Grant, approved under the Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act, that can be used for maintenance of current assisted housing and the construction and acquisition of rental units, among other things.
