Washington, D.C. – The U. S. Department of Agriculture has awarded $750,000 to the Wind River Development Fund, according to U.S. Senator Mike Enzi, R-Wyo.

"These funds should be a welcome resource for helping to create new jobs for the communities near the Wind River Reservation," Enzi said.

The rural development monies will be used as part of the Wind River Development Fund to establish a revolving loan fund providing low-interest loans and technical assistance to the markets near the Wind River Reservation.
