Longtime local accountant finds tax cuts will benefit middle class
Accountants in private practice usually avoid wading into politics, at least not publicly. They can’t afford to, their clients cross partisan lines.

This shutdown was avoidable. The House passed a bill to fund the government that the President would sign and that prioritized securing our border. Democrats should now negotiate in earnest to find a solution to secure our border and fund our government, a priority of the American people and a responsibility of Congress.
