How about a strange and rather philosophic post here at the end of a long Friday?

I say this because we are now in hurry-up-and-wait-mode here at the Capitol. There is a tug of war on funding for the wall in the continuing resolution versus no funding for the wall. I’m here with about 400 other members waiting to see what negotiations bare over the hours ahead. We’re in complete limbo for the evening. And so while I wish I could give you an update on what’s going to come next...

Just a quick update to let you know what I know as I know it….

Last night’s votes went late, and it looks like that was just a precursor to the way that votes will go today.

There are three things at play that I think will very much impact the day and today’s voting schedule.
