    Just 206 out of 50,000, that's 0.4% - POINT four percent - of applicants having their loans forgiven. That's not how this program is supposed to work and we need to fix it.

    The Education Department put out new figures on the public service loan forgiveness program today: as of 9/30/2018, the Department received nearly 50,000 applications. Just 206 people had their loans forgiven
