Washington, D.C. -Wyomingites will have a chance to talk with U.S. Senator Mike Enzi, R-Wyo., about the Patient's Bill of Rights live on MSNBC Online, June 28 from 11:30 to noon.
The Senate is currently considering a proposal by Senators John McCain and Ted Kennedy, S. 1052, on a Patient's Bill of Rights. Enzi will discuss the shortcomings and provisions of the bill.
The chat will accept national participants, but Enzi especially encourages Wyoming participation. It will last approximately 30 minutes, from 11:30 to noon Mountain time.
Participants should be forewarned that Enzi may be asked to speak on the Senate floor about the Patient's Bill of Rights. If this should happen, another time may be scheduled for an Internet Chat.
Enzi is a member of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee and was on the House-Senate conference committee for last year's Patient's Bill of Rights legislation.
