Washington, D.C. - U.S. Senator Mike Enzi, R-Wyo., will speak as the honorary co-host at a financial aid night for students and their parents.

"Paying for College", a free, informational program sponsored by Sallie Mae, will discuss college affordability, including explanations of grants and scholarships, government sponsored loans, financial aid forms and terms and how to find free financial aid information.

Enzi, a member of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, continues to work to try to bring the costs of higher education down to give access to more Wyoming students.

"As the father of two children who have graduated from college and another who is getting ready to complete the experience, I understand the sacrifices a family must make to help their children get a college degree. I want students and their families to know that college can be affordable when they know the right places to look for financial assistance," said Enzi.

The program is scheduled for Wednesday, April 11, at 7:00 p.m. in the Kelly Walsh High School Cafeteria in Casper.

One $500 scholarship will be awarded by Sallie Mae to one of the attendees of the seminar.

The program is open to high school juniors and seniors and their families.
