MURRAY, Ky. — Murray State University Hutson School of Agriculture is introducing the Murray State University Congressman James Comer Congressional Agriculture Fellowship program.
TOMPKINSVILLE, Ky. – Congressman James Comer (KY-01) announced the winners of the 2017 Congressional Art Competition. Christopher Bender Jr. is the winner this year. Christopher is from Christian County, and his piece “Chief” finished first. His artwork will hang in the capitol all year, and he will get two roundtrip tickets to Washington for the national reception.

The AHCA keeps protections for pre-existing conditions. Insurance companies will not be allowed to deny or limit coverage based on a pre-existing condition. All of these current protections will remain the law.

TOMPKINSVILLE, Ky. – Congressman James Comer will host four town hall forums next week across the district. The Congressman has already held town hall events in 12 counties so far, this year. This next tour will bring the total number of counties to 16. Rep. Comer will host a town hall in all 35 first district counties by the end of the year.
TOMPKINSVILLE, Ky. – Congressman James Comer just finished his 12th town hall so far this year in 12 different counties on Wednesday.
The most recent tour included events from April 10ththrough April 19th. While Congress is in recess, Rep. Comer made it a priority to talk with people from all over the district.
In its final days, the Obama Administration issued a new regulation limiting the amount of N-nitrosonornicotine (NNN) in smokeless tobacco. Everyone strives for health and safety, but the levels proposed by the Obama Administration were so low that no tobacco producer would be able to meet it.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Comer had the opportunity to ride on Air Force One with President Trump yesterday to and from Louisville.
The congressman spoke at length with the president about health care in the first district. The president mentioned Congressman Comer's name twice during his nationally televised speech last night.
TOMPKINSVILLE, KY. - Congressman James Comer will host 11 town hall forums in 11 different counties over the next few weeks. They will begin, Friday, March 24th in Paducah and conclude in Carlisle County on April 19th.
