Washington, D.C. - Tomorrow U.S. Sen. Mike Enzi, R-Wyo., is holding a news conference with House International Relations Committee Chairman Ben Gilman, R-N.Y., and Rep. Matt Salmon, R-Ariz., and actress Anne Archer (Patriot Games, Fatal Attraction) to announce the introduction of a Senate/House Resolution concerning religious discrimination in Germany.

WHAT: Press Conference on resolution which seeks to end government discrimination in Germany against minority groups and individuals, including American citizens, based on their religion or beliefs.

WHO: Senator Mike Enzi, R-Wyo., Rep. Matt Salmon, R-Ariz., Chairman Ben Gilman, R- N.Y., Actress Anne Archer, and other members, actors/actresses may attend.

This resolution highlights documented government discrimination and urges the German government to uphold its human rights treaty in working to eliminate such discrimination. This discrimination against minority groups based on religion or belief has been documented in the last six annual State Department Human Rights reports, in reports of the State Department Advisory Committee on Religious Freedom Abroad, in U.N. reports, and in reports of international human rights groups.
