The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) offers the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP)

For many children from low-income families, summer is not just a break from school. It is also a “break from food.” This lack of food can lead to hunger, malnutrition, and increased food costs to families. To combat these issues, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA)offers free meals through the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP).
