Lance Statement on Tariff Announcement

FLEMINGTON, N.J. --- Congressman Leonard Lance (NJ-07) issued the following statement on the decision to impose tariffs on aluminum and steel imports from Canada, Mexico and the European Union:

“I disagree with the administration’s actions on aluminum and steel tariffs.  We should target bad actors like China who engage in unfair trading practices that are to the detriment of American businesses and consumers rather than confronting our key trading partners hostilely.  These tariffs will only hurt U.S. economic growth and job creation.”
