Lack of Budget Hurts Economy; Reid Fails to Lead

“Bernanke: Lack of Senate budget hurts economy,” Washington Examiner

During a recent Senate Budget Committee Hearing, Senator Ron Johnson asked Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke, “Is uncertainty about the future of the tax code, government programs, and so on, a negative for growth?”  Chairman Bernanke candidly responded, “I think it is, because firms like to have certainty [and] like to be able to plan.”
