Serving as the Ranking Democrat on the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee has been an honor and a privilege. I could not be more proud of the work we’ve accomplished to improve the lives of veterans and I know none of it would have been possible without my incredible staff.

It was a pleasure to see my good friend Red Arndt at the Governor’s Pheasant Opener over the weekend in Luverne. Thanks for your longtime advocacy for your community and the Lewis and Clark Regional Water System. Luverne and SW MN wouldn’t be where it is today without you, Red.

One veteran lost to suicide is one too many. We still have a lot of work ahead of us and many questions to answer, but one thing is certain: we must never stop trying. We must never stop working together to make a difference. Our veterans deserve nothing less.
