  3. VAWA has been pivotal in helping our state tackle one of the highest rates of domestic violence against women. Nevada's hardworking families shouldn't be left to suffer as a result of this President's irresponsible behavior. It's no way to govern.

  4. The government has shut down for a third time under the watch of a Republican-controlled White House & Congress. To make matters worse, authorization of the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) lapsed as a result of the Trump Administration's reckless shutdown.
