  8. Did you know that the Joint Economic Committee reported that Texas added 15,600 jobs in September and 406,400 jobs in the last 12 months? The unemployment rate in Texas has also dropped to 3.8 percent. I am hopeful that we will continue to see our economy grow.

  9. Exciting news on the economy today: The U.S. economy grew at a rate of 3.5 percent in the third quarter, on top of the strong growth in the second quarter. That means more jobs, higher incomes, and more opportunity. The tax bill and regulatory relief are paying off.
