  4. Updates from conference call: -U.S. Water Service estimates Lumber River in Lumberton is currently 23.7 feet. Expect some receding, but then river to rise again to approximately 24.5 feet this weekend.

  5. Updates from conference call: -The river gauge in Lumberton is out of service because water levels are too high. I have asked for update on when service will be restored - basically, it won't happen until staff can safely access the site.
