    To recap, the : -Blew up the deficit by $2 trillion -Undermined healthcare for millions with preexisting conditions -Handed out trillions in cuts to billionaires & corporations -AND didn't stop volatility on wall street That's the legacy leaves behind.

    The Dow is currently down about 1,500 points from the day Trump signed the tax bill, almost exactly a year ago. That’s a decline of about 6% from this time last year. And in the meantime, the deficit has soared.

    In July, I was able to pass an amendment with bipartisan support that would have reversed the Trump admin policy preventing victims of gang or domestic violence from seeking asylum. I'm very pleased with this decision affirming that this policy isn't just immoral, it's illegal.
