    I wasn't able to attend the dedication ceremony for the Fallen Heroes Tree of Honor at the @DecCivisCenter but today I stopped by to see the tree. It displays the names of Americans who gave their lives to protect our freedoms. We will never forget their service & sacrifice.

    Met with the Laborers Local 477’s Brad Schaive and his Emergency Response Team that spent Saturday night and all day Sunday cleaning up my hometown. These men and women are just part of such a great effort to help Taylorville recover more quickly!

    The partnered w/ America's Gold Star Families to host the 1st annual Fallen Heroes Tree of Honor in Decatur. Sid & Theresa Palmer helped organize the dedication of the tree that holds 200+ ornaments bearing the names of fallen soldiers from across the country.
