    Yesterday, I introduced H.R. 7170, a bipartisan bill that would keep Wisconsin’s lakes healthy, including the Great Lakes, by restricting the access of invasive species of fish.

    Watch my floor speech on President Trump’s decision to withdraw from Syria. I must disagree with him, as we saw under President Obama, withdrawing U.S. troops leads to the rise of radical Islamic terrorist organizations like ISIS.

    Americans elected to build the wall and protect the American people. I am proud to do my part in making America safe.

    Thank you to our GREAT Republican Members of Congress for your VOTE to fund Border Security and the Wall. The final numbers were 217-185 and many have said that the enthusiasm was greater than they have ever seen before. So proud of you all. Now on to the Senate!

    I recently signed a letter to HHS Sec. Alex Azar, , thanking him for canceling an order of $16,000 worth of “fresh” human fetal tissue, and urging the department to give up fetal tissue research on both moral and pragmatic grounds.

    I morally disagree with using fetal tissue for stem cell research. This week, three experts made it clear that fetal tissue is NOT the best way to research the secrets of stem cells. Read more here:

    I sometimes wonder when it comes to politicians who are always pushing fetal tissue. They’re so invested in abortion, and they want abortion to be good – that they just want to believe that fetal tissue research is superior. -

    Congrats to my friend, . His hard work has resulted in these important sanctions passing the House and Senate w/ bipartisan support.

    Of all the malign activities of groups like Hizballah and Hamas, few are more reprehensible than their use of civilians as human shields. My bipartisan bill sends a clear signal that the U.S. will not tolerate this behavior.
