    Today, I visited The Pavilion Behavioral Health System & met with the staff who are on the front lines of the opioid epidemic. Congress is helping fight the epidemic from all angles, including increasing access to the treatment services people need to overcome addiction.

    Honored to speak at the dedication ceremony for the Bloomington Firefighter Service Memorial. It was a community effort in making this memorial a reality. Congrats to on 150 years of service & we are thankful for those in uniform who selflessly run towards danger.

    This morning, I rode along with one of the Waste Management garbage trucks on their route in Springfield. Thank you, Robert Baker, for showing me how to operate the truck and letting me help collect garbage today!
