    This morning I joined Dover Mayor James Dodd in touring the damage along West Blackwell and North Warren Streets following Monday’s massive fire. My casework staff will be on-hand to provide assistance to those residents & businesses displaced by the blaze.

    Today I was honored to witness the arrival ceremony of the late Sen. McCain as he lies in state in the Capitol Rotunda. An American hero, John McCain is greatly deserving of this high honor. May he rest in peace at his beloved Annapolis following final ceremonies Sunday.

    Today I visited the Roxbury Fire Co. to announce a $74,000 grant. Great to see Chief Hoffman and father-daughter volunteers Charlie Alpaugh (60 years volunteering!) & Dawn Ward. We rely heavily on volunteers & there’s no greater example of that than those who serve Roxbury.

    One day after a major accident destroyed a building in downtown Frenchtown, I visited the site to thank & commend the first responders. I also received an update from Frenchtown Mayor Brad Myhre, Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony Kearns & Frenchtown Police Chief Allan Kurylka.
