    Texas has yet to provide a thorough accounting of what taxpayers got for all this “border security” money. A point and others have been making for years.

    Texas is currently spending almost a billion dollars every biennium to secure the border—far more than any other state. The federal government must step up and do its constitutional job to end open border policies.

    You slander Jakelin’s memory and re-traumatize her family by spreading lies about why she died. You don’t deserve to represent our nation at any level.

    ...children in question were very sick before they were given over to Border Patrol. The father of the young girl said it was not their fault, he hadn’t given her water in days. Border Patrol needs the Wall and it will all end. They are working so hard & getting so little credit!

    Seriously? Your demands for a ludicrous wall resulted in shutdown & your fixation with $$$ for wall instead of medical staff, resources, equipment & training for Border Patrol resulted in deaths. We are all God’s children. We should care for them.

    Any deaths of children or others at the Border are strictly the fault of the Democrats and their pathetic immigration policies that allow people to make the long trek thinking they can enter our country illegally. They can’t. If we had a Wall, they wouldn’t even try! The two.....

    Who got the contract? Did it undergo a competitive bidding process? Is that process public?

    I am in the Oval Office & just gave out a 115 mile long contract for another large section of the Wall in Texas. We are already building and renovating many miles of Wall, some complete. Democrats must end Shutdown and finish funding. Billions of Dollars, & lives, will be saved!

    Undocumented arriving by air: 42% Fastest growing origins: China, Africa Last time so few migrants apprehended at border: 1971 # who cross legally yearly: 2M Value of cross-border trade: $616B. So, yeah, closing the border for a wall makes perfect sense.

    I travel for entertainment and tourism into Mexico 🇲🇽 often. I’m American and have loads of ID and a passport. It takes about 2-4 hours to get into my own country. We do NOT have open borders.
