    I join with both and in this great effort. As a former SNAP recipient - work is empowering!

    In 1996, Dems & GOP came together to reform the welfare system, as President Clinton said, to provide a 2nd chance, not a way of life. SNAP is an example where that focus has been lost. We're proposing a rule to encourage independence. My op-ed:

    1 out of every 4 jobs in Nebraska is related to ag and the 2018 Farm Bill provides certainty not only to our farmers, ranchers and producers, but to so many other related industries. There are many wins for Nebraska in this bill. Read my statement here:
