Parents should be charged with child abuse and endangerment!

Don't forget the hypercorrupt rulers, dictators (US imposed), behind the humanitarian crisis forcing the massive exodus due to the intolerable plagues of corruption, impunity, poverty, inequality, VIOLENCE (gangs included) and NARCOACTIVITY (yes, DRUGS are a big driving force).

Several safe places with many economic opportunities in Mexico where they were in fact offered asylum. Her parents should be put on trial.
-
You are wrong. Once in US custody we are responsible. She was in custody 8 hours!
-
Still the parents fault, how can you not see that is beyond me.

This is no doubt a lot more complex than her being taken into custody. The days of not eating and more importantly, not drinking would have wreaked havoc on her body, not to mention the exhaustion from all the walking.
-
The “complication” is she was in US custody or 8 hours with no medical attention. Obviously she, they were dehydrated. Being that she was a little 7 yr old girl her condition should have been assessed and cared for before she had seizures. You think?
-
Not necessarily... The parents should have done more.

The fact that America has enough money to ensure the safety of people who are traveling to our country looking for a better life and we chose not to... so stop saying that she was sick before she got here!! America knew that the caravan was on the way here and didn't offer aid
-
Mexico knew they were on the way and offered aid, they did not accept it.

Sad that these people put their children in danger and then the border patrol gets the blame.
-
AND another thing, if you really want to know what's going on don't just live in your fantasy world reading the newspaper. Take your rich self down to OUR southern border & talk to OUR agents they'll let you know what it's like to live with this problem everyday.

If only her parents had thought of her safety instead of sneaking in illegally!
