| The response rate calculation has been updated to align with the Office of Management and Budget guidelines. The guidelines specify response rate formula RR4 as defined on page 62 of the American Association of Public Opinion Research's "Standard Definitions." In the original calculation, records thought to be farms who responded to the Census of Agriculture that reported no agriculture or not sufficient agriculture to be included as a farm were counted as a usable response. In the updated calculation these records are excluded from the calculation. The updated response rate calculation is 74.5 percent compared to the originally reported value of 80.1 percent.
