NIAID Paylines

NIAID Paylines

Updated December 3, 2018. We set the interim K (except K99) payline. We now have paylines for all grant types shown.

Paylines are the funding cutoff points for grant applications. Following the paylines, NIAID funds most applications in percentile (for R01s only) or overall impact/priority score order (for others). Each fiscal year, NIAID sets the initial paylines conservatively and may fund additional applications beyond the paylines at the end of a fiscal year.
