The Indiana House of Representatives offers paid, spring-semester internships to recent and current college undergraduates as well as graduate students. Interns work directly with legislators and staff at the Statehouse located in downtown Indianapolis. This internship is a unique opportunity to gain practical knowledge of state government through active participation in the legislative process.

The Indiana House of Representatives is comprised of members from the Democratic and Republican parties. Please submit an application to only one of these caucuses, not both. This paid internship is an official state program, not a political, campaign-affiliated opportunity.
