2019 National Preparedness Symposium

Course Description:

CDP will host the 2019 National Preparedness Symposium in May, in Anniston, Alabama

The annual event provides attendees the latest information about state, local, tribal and territory preparedness offerings across FEMA and those of its domestic preparedness training partners. The event also provides a forum for attendees to share best practices and case studies related to the training of SLTT responders and emergency managers.

The agenda for the 2019 conference is still being developed, but it will include a number of large-group lectures and smaller, focused breakout sessions.

As in year’s past, participation will be limited to FEMA National Preparedness Directorate staff, National Training and Education Division staff, and Regional Training Managers, Regional Exercise Officers and regional training and exercise staff; state and territorial emergency management training and exercise officers; state administrative agency training and exercise points of contact; tribal emergency managers, and training and exercise staff; Federal Preparedness Coordinators and their deputies; and representatives of FEMA training partners such as the National Domestic Preparedness Consortium and Rural Domestic Preparedness Consortium.
